World Heritage List: Regensburg

       During the 30th session of the World Heritage Committee, which met on 8-16 July in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, eighteen new sites were added to the World Heritage List. Among those new sites we find now the “Old Town of Regensburg with Stadtamhof (Germany)”. The explanation for the acceptance of this site is: “ It is located on the Danube river in Bavaria.
